"North Beach Venice Boardwalk" a mile long compilation
“North Venice Beach Boardwalk”

Since 1905, The Ocean Front Walk (Boardwalk) in Venice has provided humble amusement for the masses, a real proverbial,
“Circus by The Sea.” Stretching from Rose Avenue (once the site of the famous Pacific Ocean Park) to Windward Avenue, this ever-changing Beachfront community provides a playground for people. A place where the vital street culture not only survives but flourishes as well. While other boardwalks tend to upscale their ambience, Venice is content to remain as a, “Monument to Urban Bohemia.” If an avalanche of affluence moves in and takes over, the “Surreptitious Seaside Circus” will move on. Until then, both the amused and amusement prevail.

Photographed along the ocean’s edge, this mile-long parade of architecture and humanity at the North Venice Beach Boardwalk has been assembled as a multi-image sequential compilation, depicting it as a metaphoric icon immortalizing this ever-changing decadently vivid paradise.

The original art is permanently on exhibit at the Venice Abbot Kinney Branch library.

Also, other versions of this imagery is exhibited at my other site in my home page / links / at: Rich Mann and www.richymann.com, in the side dock as V.Boardwalk
and V.Triptych.
