New technology has many assets. In Greek terminology photography is described as merely; "To Write With Light." Contemporary digital imagery has not quite reached the quality that film develops yet ("Grain vs. Pixels"), but the aspects of recording digitally as a contemporary format makes the selective process more practical to choose from numerous images, easier to expose, work with several images at one time, edit, instant exposure compensation, select and store data than ever before.

Ansel Adams and his predecessors would roll over (Figure of Speech) knowing what is available today. Contemporary innovations reside merely in the hands of the future and fortunes of time.
