Hobbies can sometimes be a distraction, and yet at times amusing. They break or make relationships. Coining the terms "Our, I, or Us."
Being associated with other custom car enthusiasts, my friends and I were connected to our families, businesses and alternative interests.
Car clubs briefly set aside regular times for the members to be separated from the outside world. Regular meetings created an opportunity for mutual bonding. The obligations and benefits connected to pastimes can occasionally be life-altering, but nonetheless a temporary break from monotony. After the gatherings dispersed, we all returned to life as it were prior to our little get-togethers.
