A lengthy restoration process finally produced a duplicate rendering from a previously recorded digital photograph of the Edward Biberman mural. Titled The Story Of Venice, it was previously located at the former building of the Venice Post Office, temporarily removed by the new owner. It depicted Venice, in its developing years between 1905-1941. The reproduction is installed and permanently on display in the New Post Office, located at 313 Grand Ave., one block east of the former Venice Post Office housing residential Post Office boxes, with the zip code of 90294.
This five foot wide version was recreated to inspire and remind viewers through this reproduced illustration of the Founder/Developer, namely Abbot Kinney of the renowned Venice Ca. Kinney’s innovative evolutionary vision, conceived through Biberman's art, pictographically describes Venice as being one of our nations most unique environments which still flourishes and prevails today.
