In 2005, George a herbivore Sulcata Tortoise, weighed approximately 5 lbs. Currently (7/30/2014) he weighs 29 lbs. This species of Tortoise have been know to live from 50-150 years old, weigh over 200 lbs and 24-36 inches long.
Turtles, Tortoises, Alligators and Armadillos are amoungst the many pre-historic type reptiles still existing today.
