DRAWINGS
A vacant property in our neighborhood seemed to have remained without any sign of being developed for a long as I could remember. My fantasy routinely remained unchanged every time I passed it. The look on my face would have probably expressed the same as in this sketch. I used to think what a nice studio or business (seen in black to the right) it would make.
Through the years this image, like many in my collection became faded and unpreserved. I always understood that true art is ambiguous. The interpretation might have changed from the original integrity of this drawing by virtue of the nature of its deterioration.
