* Digital imagery is progressively superseding adequately functioning technologies of the past. Film is becoming obsolete for a variety of reasons. Blogs, websites, networking, links, and the internet are moving forward to replace the antiquated technologies of yesteryears contemporary information resourses, which will soon become our major communication sources of the future

The Al Gore debate and book signing at the Wilshire Theater was a sold out success. I was able to present him with a copy of my futuristic surreal concept, "An Inconvenient Surfside Convenience" concept and in trade had him sign one for posterity . This time I recorded him signing (unlike the similiar Gov. Schwarzenegger autographing)

Now that Al Gore has won the Nobel peace prize if he wins the Pulitzer prize I suggest that he run for Planetary Ruler and have his headquarters in the space station!

Monthly events:
The TRW electronic and computer Swap (two blocks south on Aviation off Rosecrans) meets the last Saturday of every month, be there 7-11am or be square! Many venders, electronics and computers galore.

*Contemporary philosophies by R Mann:

As residents of our planet and in compliance with the survival of our species we should try and minimize the (unless extremely necessary) use of automobiles or any other carbon dioxide producing devices. Plan multiple vehicle trips and errands, Use bicycles, buses, walk, and reduce speeds (drive under 1800 rpm) etc. to where ever and whenever possible!

"WASTE NO TIME BEFORE IT'S TIME!"

Imagine if you will that we and the infinite space beyond might just be existing in the thumbnail of a giant or that diametrically there might be multi-numerous infinitely ultra-microscopic worlds living in our thumbnails. "Imagination is the most creative nation on Earth"

Blog: After recently discovering Al Gore's Documentary film, "An Inconvenient Truth" and viewing it twice within
36 hours of each showing, I am very impressed with it's findings. It's a must see. I plan to see it many times again!
If ocean levels rise and flooding occurs due to the increasing polar ice caps that are melting, Los Angeles's coastal and inland communities would be subjected to major flooding. See the imagery titled, "An Inconvenient Surfside Convenience" at the New Art here on the lower dock. There would be four favorable places to retreat to: The Ocean (on board a yacht or cruise ship), The hills or mountains, the desert, or in the sky! Thirty years ago, a wise local mural artist, Terry Schoonhoven aptly predicted and illustrated, a perceptive surreal depiction of this situation in an oil painting entitled, "L A Under water." He also foresaw that An Inconvenient Truth may not be a lie after all! This film is the third highest grossing documentary in history and won an Academy Award this year. So do see, borrow, buy, or rent it ASAP "An Inconvenient Truth" it's for reel! Also, recommended from that film is a website to view at: www.climatecrisis.net also at: www.fightglobalwarmingnow.com

It would not matter how gorgeous, wealthy, lucky or intelligent one is, lengthy survival will come to those are the most capable for it's invasion. 50's comedian Tom Lehrer, amusingly put it in a scouters cheering song, "Be Prepared."

After returning from the 2006 Auto Show at the L A convention center, the car I'm most inspired by is the Tesla.
As an all electric powered vehicle, it's a performance inspiration, with zero pollutants per mile (APPM).
Google: Tesla Car and see the wave of the future, it's a beauty! Or go to: www.teslamotors.com

Also try experience the newly rebuilt Los Angeles Griffith Observatory, go to: www.griffithobservatory.org another must! You can either make reservations to take the shuttle (see their website) or Park your car at the Greek Theatre and hike 1/2 mile up to the observatory. I hiked up, it's was a good exercise.
The exhibitions are spectacular. As it has been described by others before, imagine if you will, the relationship between two diametric perceptions;
One; we may be possessing (invisible) mini microscopic universals in our thumbnail, yet at the same time we may be but a infinite flicker in the thumbnail of a enormous giant.

No longer is public transportation a sub-standard means of mobilizing around the L A area. Frequently, I have been leaving my A to B commuting vehicle parked, and as a senior I'm able to purchase a shockingly affordable all-day (20-hr.) Seniors bus pass for a mere $1.80. Go figure, I went to five different places; Downtown (on business), Chinatown (for lunch), L.A.C.M.A. (to appreciate art) in the Central Wilshire district, and home again by transferring on to 14 different busses from Venice and back again within 6 hours. Do the math. After gas, parking and not having to deal with stress and traffic, while I read and organize my life out of a back pack, It's highly practical. It can even be a good social and photo. opportunity. "Life is like a good bus ride, You'll never know who you'll meet or what you'll do along the way!" Excellence to the Max." I created the "Downtown Dreamer" image from those valuable moments of inspiration! Al Gore is right, "leave the driving to them!"

Projects: I'm preparing NEW ART (go to NEW ART on the lower dock and click on the thumbnails), and old patented inventions such as "The Life-light" to submit to investing angels for production into the real world, also I've patented the following: The Uninsured Motorist Detector, The Easy Sock Aider, The Handsfree multi tasking Laptop bag/Carrier, "Bumpart"/bumper Stickers opposing cellphone motoring, and The Rolling Ball Ballet Slipper.

I'm appearing in short film about seniors active in sports, were I perform on the flying rings. It is titled;
"Reverse Aging Now" and will appear on PBS-TV. The time and date will be posted here.

Events: The last Saturday of every month (on Aviation & two blocks south of Rosecrans, a mile from Fry's Electronic store) is an electric/computer swap-meet in El Segundo, google TRW swap-meet/El Segundo.

I'm entering numerous photography contests and invention competitions.
