Hello and thank you for visiting my site. I am Rich Mann and for the past 52 years I have been recording imagery around the Venice Beach and Los Angeles areas of Southern California. The androgynous looking "Dreamer" http://rvmann.com/artwork/2689 seen on this premier page symbolizes the need to relax, unwind, examine our existence and justify our motives in this rapidly changing world in which we pass through ever so briefly.

Iconified in some of my image-compilations clouds represent and interpret the metaphors for life’s variety of moods and aspirations. As ethereal depictions, they give rise to our dreams and imaginations, embodied by the most wondrous dominion on this our old marbleized Earth. They are virtually the . . . . "Sheet Music Of The Skies."

"Image-Credibility"
Whether recorded on film or as a digital format, these isolated amusements afforded the benefits of viewing and deciphering the truths and visible evidences that are established as records. In everyday reality life prevails along barely leaving a trace of it's former existence while traveling through time and space. Depicted as visual records, these instances interplay between the frozen moments viewed by and witnessing them by an interested audience and the actual images themselves. Current Grecian terminology translates the common term of photography as "To Write With Light." The following images are either unaltered documentaries or conceptual in nature as a didactic language that remains openly understood by the deciphering vision of the observer.
